The 90-day roadmap — the production engine inside every Nespola program

This is the repeatable delivery cycle we run with every student, regardless of which program they are on. Complete the 90 days once and you have 3 books live on Amazon. Then we do it again, and again, until your portfolio milestone is reached.

The delivery framework

Every Nespola program runs on the same 5-phase production cycle across 13 weeks. Each phase ends with a concrete milestone. Nothing advances until the milestone is confirmed.

Phase 01Guided Topic SelectionWeek 1
Week1
Keyword research + validation call✓ Milestone — Validated topic confirmed

We guide you step by step through the Amazon algorithm and keyword research process — so you arrive at the best opportunities for your book without guesswork. We then validate those opportunities together in a 1:1 Guided Topic Selection call, reviewing real market data to confirm the strongest direction. You leave with a clear data-backed brief and a defined portfolio roadmap. Nothing advances until this validation is complete.

Phase 02Book ProductionWeeks 2–4
Week2
Strategy, title, outline + writing sprint

You define your ideal reader, build your go-to-market strategy, and create your title, subtitle, and pen name. A full chapter outline is then generated with AI in a single session. Writing begins immediately — approximately 5,000 words per day using Claude AI, targeting a 20–30k word manuscript. Royalty-free images are sourced and integrated in parallel. Our team provides active support throughout this phase to keep production on track.

Week3
Editing, cover, description + lead magnet

The manuscript is edited and proofread for clarity, structure, and tone. Cover concepts are generated and a final direction is selected. The book description is written for Amazon SEO and conversion. The lead magnet is created and the delivery funnel is configured so your book builds your email list from day one of launch.

Week4
Formatting, categories, copyright + final files✓ Milestone — Publish-ready book asset complete

The interior is formatted to KDP specifications for Kindle, paperback, and hardcover. The full cover layout is finalised. Seven backend keyword strings are prepared, the three most strategic categories are selected, and a copyright deposit is filed. All files are reviewed and approved — the book is ready for upload.

Phase 03First Book LiveWeek 5
Week5
KDP upload + first reviews✓ Milestone — Book 1 live on Amazon

Your KDP account is configured and your book is uploaded and submitted for review — Kindle first, to start the clock as early as possible. The moment it goes live, the focus shifts entirely to one objective: generating your first reviews as fast as possible. Early reviews are the single most important factor for conversion, visibility, and ad performance. You activate personal outreach to your network and leverage targeted social proof services to collect your first verified reviews quickly and compliantly. Every review you earn this week compounds into everything that follows.

Phase 04Amazon Ads + Facebook AdsWeeks 6–8
Week6
Social proof infrastructure

Personal outreach generates your first reviews fast, but it has a ceiling. Week 6 is about building the system that removes that ceiling. You set up your own Facebook Ads funnel — a dedicated acquisition flow that drives targeted readers to your book, captures their contact details, and delivers an automated follow-up sequence that converts readers into reviewers. This is not a one-time campaign. It is a compounding asset: the funnel runs continuously, scaling your review count month after month and strengthening the foundation for every ad campaign you activate from here.

Week7
Ad campaigns launch

With social proof in place, you activate paid traffic on Amazon. You study campaign types, targeting and match types, and bidding rules before spending a single dollar — then launch your first campaigns with a structured keyword and product target list. Publisher Champ is connected and dashboard access is shared with the Nespola team so your campaigns are monitored from day one.

Week8
First optimisation round✓ Milestone — Paid traffic active on both channels

Using the Amazon Ads Calendar as your weekly operating guide, you run the first structured optimisation round — adjusting bids, cutting non-performers, and identifying what is converting. The same logic applies to Facebook: you read early data, pause underperforming ad sets, and reinforce what is working. Every number now has a meaning and a corresponding action.

Phase 05Growth & OptimisationWeeks 9–13
Week9
Aggressive scaling

By now your ads have generated enough real data to make confident decisions. You are no longer testing — you are scaling. The campaigns that are converting get more budget. The keywords that are performing get pushed harder. Both Amazon and Facebook ad spend increases systematically, guided by the numbers in your dashboard. Your book has proven its market fit. Now you scale aggressively.

Deliverables:

Week10
Expanded distribution

With your book generating its first consistent results on Amazon, the next move is to expand its reach beyond a single platform. You evaluate secondary markets — additional Amazon marketplaces, alternative distribution channels, and platforms outside the Amazon ecosystem. The goal is to maximise the asset you have already built, extracting more revenue from the same book without adding production cost.

Week11
Portfolio expansion strategy

With a live, performing book and a distribution strategy in place, you now define what comes next. Based on the data collected so far, you evaluate the highest-leverage path forward: expanding your existing title into a series, building a recognisable author brand around your first book, or identifying new keywords and topics to open a second revenue stream. Every option is assessed against real performance data — not assumptions. The next cycle begins here.

Week12
Ad scaling + royalty tracking

Amazon and Facebook Ads continue to scale as your optimisation compounds. Your KDP royalty dashboard is connected to a tracking spreadsheet and BSR alerts are configured for all live titles. First royalty deposits typically appear this week — real money, from a real asset, built in 90 days.

First royalty deposit + next cycle roadmap✓ Milestone — Portfolio earning + cycle 2 ready

Your first Amazon royalty payment confirms the portfolio is earning. We deliver a full cycle retrospective and your next 90-day roadmap — titles already identified, briefed, and prioritised based on live data. The second cycle is faster because the infrastructure is already built. The compounding has begun.

What happens if we miss a milestone?

If we miss an agreed milestone date, your programme is extended at no additional cost for the equivalent number of days. You will receive a written acknowledgement of the delay, the revised timeline, and the root cause within 24 hours. We do not ask you to absorb delays caused by our team.

Review windows are built into the schedule. You have five business days to review each deliverable. If you need an extension, notify your strategist before the window closes and we will adjust the downstream timeline with no penalty. Feedback submitted after five business days may push subsequent milestones by the same number of days.

KDP rejection is uncommon but does occur. We handle all rejection responses as part of the programme at no additional charge. Our team diagnoses the issue — typically content, formatting, or metadata — resolves it, and resubmits within 48 hours. The milestone clock pauses during KDP review periods outside our control.

Your dashboard shows the real-time status of every deliverable across all 13 weeks. Each item has a status (Not Started / In Progress / In Review / Complete) and an assigned owner. If anything is running behind, you are notified before the deadline, not after.

Every milestone deliverable includes one structured revision round as standard. If the revised deliverable still does not meet the agreed brief, we escalate to a senior strategist at no additional cost. The cycle does not advance until you confirm the deliverable is acceptable.

We deliver a cycle retrospective and your next 90-day roadmap — titles identified, briefed, and prioritised based on live performance data. The second cycle is faster because the infrastructure is already built. This repeats until your portfolio milestone is reached.

Now you know how the 90-day roadmap runs. Pick the program that matches your portfolio goal.
